Thoughts of a Daughter

I am half way through on finishing paying all my debts. Last two years ago, my father was hospitalized and underwent extensive operation. He is diabetic. I will be forever grateful he made it through all that and is now recuperating, and is getting healthier all the more each day.

I acquired so much debt in the process of his recovery but I have no regrets. I can trade my life for my parent’s good health. After my father’s operation, he is in strict carbohydrates diet taken very well by my mother. He always has a hard time with diet, my father loves to eat. So his meal time would always mean less a cup of rice, lots of vegetables plus fruits. It isn’t easy feeding a sick person, especially if they ask for more food, hahah. But my mother is strict when it comes to my father’s eating; he has to live with that!

I don’t how my father would react if I share to him this 1800 diabetic diet I found in the internet. He has a lot of medications that sometimes scare me, how could his liver survive all them! I just hope this time, that diet works best for him..

I am also diabetic and hypertensive and would have died a long time ago if not for the grace of God. I don't know what your father was operated on but I admire your words of being willing to even give your life for your parent. God bless you more for that. Aside from the strict correct diet, you should encourage your father to exercise more to throw off the excess sugar in his body. Drinking one tbsp of apple cider vinegar and one tbsp of honey after each meal also help in lowering blood pressure, cholesterol levels, body fats, parasites and in reducing excess weight- one of the main sources of diabetes. Thanks for the post. God bless you always.
