Back to where she was born

Yena got fever thursday afternoon last week, the fever subsided and then the rashes came out sunday morning. We thought it's kind of measles, so we decided to take her to her Pedia next morning.

But came sunday night, when she only took 2 bottles of her milk and she cried for no reason at all. I cried too, got worried so much. Hubby and I decided to bring her to the hospital, to where she was born 8 months ago. At that moment, i prayed so hard, while tears kept falling down my cheeks. I dare not try to look at husband, we might broke down in tears at once.

They tried to put her an IV. I thought the world was so slow paced, the process was so long and hurting. It ended up to nothing, It was hurting her. Hubby got angry, I signed the waiver.

After two days of stay on the place where she was born, she is so much ok now.. Looks like she just needed some time off, some time for the three of us to be alone, bond and feel each others love and support..

(i am much better now mommy, no need to worry daddy!!)

Going home after two days of hospital bed rest. Thanks God! :)

what causes typhoid fever with pneumonia?

yes, our yena is sick. typhoid fever with pneumonia, that was her pedia's findings. that was too much to bear, but she assured me that yena will be better after 3 to 4 days, given proper medication.

wilkins was advised by her old pedia. and who would have thought that that mineral/purified/distilled water would have cause some bad effect to our baby??! months ago, i wonder why so many pedia in lasalle UMC insist on boiling 15-20 minutes of purified water than using wilkins. now i know the answer. wilkins distilled water, is not anymore safe, it is the culprit on yena's typhoid fever.

all the while we thought yena is perfectly fine. she is always active, actually even after the doctor checked on her yesterday, she was still smiling and laughing. what was unusual to her was her cries early in the morning. now i miss her waking us up with a smile and bubbling noise..

i really hope she will be better after 4 days and wakes us up again with a bang. ;)

Colds and Flu please go away!

nakaleave ako kahapon dinala ko yena sa pedia. so sad, she is really sick. 7 days ang gamutan niya.

and because hubby and i had to work last saturday, nung gabi na lang namen nalaman na may sipon na pala siya..

come sunday nagpunta pa kami ng laguna and dahil tigas ulo kaming mag asawa, pinagswimsuit pa namen siya at pinagswimming ng mga 10 minutes, thinking na she was enjoying the warm water.

i got the time to take my leave thursday na dahil sa rush na trabaho from monday, buti na lang heaven sent ang boss ko at pinayagan akong magleave for yena. im sad kasi umabot pa ng ilang araw bago ko siya napacheckup. i feel like a bad mom..

kanina, tulad ng mga nagdaaang madaling araw puyat kaming mag asawa, pati na rin si mother in law. iyak siya ng iyak na parang may masakit.. nakakaiyak kasi di mo alam ang gagawin to calm her, nakakakonsensya kasi kami ang may kagagawan kung baket umabot pa sa ganun ang sitwasyon.

i learned my lesson now. next time talaga i'll bring her to the doctor at once, no second thought on that. ayoko na mahirapan siya ng ganito ulit.

alam ko na kung baket sinasabi ng mga magulang na ipasa sa kanila ang nararamdamang sakit ng anak.. seeing your child in pain is twice you feel. worst is that yena is just turning 6 months and doesnt communicate what really is painful to her..

with the doctor's prescription of antibiotic, hope that bad colds and uninvited flu go away!
