CC: Our Different Talents

My husband is very musically inclined; he knows how to play different musical instruments. He sings pretty well too. I am always a proud wife every time he sings on a videoke and dedicates his song to me. Haba ng hair ko! ;)

We both hate to dance, we both have left foot. So erase dancing on our list of talents. hahah.

So if doing some cross stitching is a talent, ok that would be my talent. I can’t think of anything I am good at now hihih. This would be my share on Couple’s Corner this Wednesday.

4 on 28

Husband and I will be celebrating our 4th year anniversary as lovers on the 28th of this month. I am still thinking of ways on how to make the day extra special when Fedhz and Pehpot buzzed about nuffnang’s free movie invites. My excitement went wild when I learned that the movie for offing was SALT of Angelina Jolie!

So then and there while working and while thinking on what best to celebrate that most awaited night of this month I pray... I pray that we would have the tickets, will consider them as the sweetest anniversary gift! =)

Thank you in advance, Nuffnang!

Celebrate Anniversaries the CHEESY way

Husband and I celebrate two very special days monthly - our monthsary as lovers (the day we officially became an item) and as a couple (the day we officially became husband and wife). So when my friend, Ate Binx asked me to blog some tips on how to celebrate anniversary the non-cheesy way I declined. I told her am sooo cheesssy.. ;)

So here are my cheesy tips – those that husband and I already did and those that I am looking forward of doing.. hahah

1st year: Bonding galore

Husband isn’t into books, but we spent our first year anniversary cuddling while reading our books we bought as gifts for each other. We dined at our favorite restaurant and spent the whole day together..

2nd year: Romantic Getaway

Visit Coron, this is so recommended for couples who like some rest and recreation. Almost all the white sand beaches are secluded, you can swim, snorkel together and have all the fun under the sun, stars and the moon.. I highly recommend the cottage we stayed in – visit coron and stay at Krystal Lodge! You won’t regret it..

Oh well, the ff are my random thoughts on how cheesy I am when celebrating anniversaries well some are petty but sweet while some are grand..

1. Leave a love note on his pocket or to any secret place on the day of your anniversary or paste it somewhere he goes first thing in the morning.

2. Wake him up at 12AM, greet him and kiss him. Am sure this will lead to something you both love to do. ;)

3. Surprise him by sending roses at his work or wherever he may be. This is an ultimate ‘cheesy’ thing for men no matter how much masculine they are! Let the flowers do the talking..

4. Go to a romantic place like Tagaytay and spend the day holding hands while strolling. If you can stay overnight on a cottage, the better! Prepare him breakfast in bed. Ultimate cheesiness. ;)

5. Call him or email him you want to go out for a date. If you can make reservation for a romantic candlelight dinner, do it! Or eat on your fave restaurant or fast food chain. The place would not matter anyway..

6. Watch romantic movie together, go to a bar or somewhere secluded where you can talk or just stare at one another

7. Take another honeymoon to a destination that you both wanted to visit.. or just check into a hotel nearby.. ;)

8. Stay at home, cook his favorite food, light candles – create a very romantic atmosphere. Share your thoughts, discuss anything you want to. Tease him while talking..

9. Go on a picnic. Pack your picnic hamper and bring all your favorite foods. Communicate while feasting on the food. Stare, kiss, cuddle and hug each other. Or talk about the old times when you first met

10. Call him and confess how much you love him. Email him or talk deliciously on chatrooms. Flirt with him like there’s no more tomorrow.

Choose on how much you are willing to commemorate the high and low times you conquered with your partner! Just don’t forget to CELEBRATE! Enjoy and cherish each other’s company. A grand date or you simple you-and-me time together could do wonder to make your anniversary more memorable!

Off to Palawan!

My husband, daughter, my godmother and ghie’s siblings will be heading to Palawan this morning for our three days vacation. This trip was planned since May and I couldn’t believe that I am writing this now, is it October 17 already? LOLThis trip is supposed to be for husband and I’s second wedding anniversary. BUT since it is a week before our actual wedding date, I am thinking of our ‘solo’ celebration somewhere in Tagaytay. If we can leave our daughter for one night, if not it will be another family affair I am looking forward to. ;)

Anyways, I should be going. This is supposed to be a rest from all that is giving me stress (work and blogging, LOL) but I will be bringing my laptop just in case I find time to drop EC and adgitize.

Please help us pray for a nice weather! :) Thank you so much for dropping by. Have a great weekend!

ps:
And yes, my 5 blogs has the same entry for today. And your guess is right, this is a scheduled post! :)

23 Months of Wedding Bliss

Today, 26 of September, marks our 23 months as a couple. The ride has been rough and smooth but the will to keep the marriage alive is still holding us closer each day. I will be always grateful for each day that we have our moments when the husband stands firm on keeping our vows. He has always been the fortress of this matrimony, he holds dear to the day we both said ‘I do’. And getting out of the union is never on the list of our choices.

The marriage vows we made in front of Judge Victoria always brings smile to my face. We swore to love one another laughing; we had so much fun at our wedding. Though the thought that my parents were not present on our wedding, still I won’t regret the day I finally said I do to the man who loves me at my best and embraces me at my worst.

I am actually looking forward to our 2nd year anniversary which will be spent in Palawan with our daughter Yena and a lot of close friends. We prefer celebrating with our friends so our solo time will happen after that 3 days vacation. Might be in Tagaytay or in a place where we love to cuddle and snuggle.. Am so excited.

Who's doing the Math?

Today, 26th of August, I planned on waking up husband at 12am, kiss him and greet him: happy 34th month wedding anniversary. Before i speak a thing he suddenly woke up, kissed me and whispered 'happy 22 months!'

22 months? how come i am counting 34 already?! of course i was laughing to myself and started counting again. We got married Oct 26, 2007, how could i possibly think we are already celebrating our 34th month?! am not good in math, alright! :)

Anyways, i know we will get to 34th month and to countless months together but am still happy husband never forgets to do his part of making me feel extra special on two days of each month.

His effort on greeting me on his blog is so much for a gift! :) babaw ko talaga! hahaha

And i am always thankful i said yes to the man who always makes me happy, sad, mad and insane!

Happy 22nd! I love you more baby!

marry me baby!

that was my line a year ago! yesterday was our first year wedding anniversary! i just cant believe how fast the days was that we pass a year together! whew! we wish to celebrate it out somewhere but yena is sick until now.. we contend ourselves with cuddling and reading the books we gave each other when yena was not having tantrums or was sleeping.

and so after yena's pedia visit, and after purchasing her medication, hubby and i sneaked out and had our lunch at Max's. Anniversary lunch date a day before our anniversary, see we're just sneaking time away? LOL

yesterday, the actual anniversary day was the most tiring day we had, after the baptism of my nephew, which both hubby and i were godparents, we went to his friend's daughter;s first birthday, and then have our alone time at the mall, then hurried home missing yena! :)

when you say you had a blast last weekend, i would say! we had a blasssssssst!

happy anniversary to my husband! i love you more each day baby! :)

Lunch Date with Ex-BF!

To celebrate our 2nd year anniversary yesterday, me and my ex-bf got to sneak lunch early and spent it at my fave chicken house on earth, at Max's!

To be connected still, i left my status message at my YM (yahoo messenger) like this: Lunch Date with Ex-BF!

After lunch, i was bombarded with lots of messages left and right at my YM, to name a few;

ex bf? whaaaaat?

you flirt!! hahah
i will let your husband know!!! :)

And YES, i had a date with my Ex-Boyfriend, who is my HUSBAND NOW! :p

I GOT YOU PEOPLE!! hihih

Ofcourse, it was a romantic lunch simply because i am with my hub, and i really misssss Max's classic chicken, while hubby always crave for java rice and barbeque chicken.. well it will be another year for another Max's visit. :)

Happy Anniversary Baby!
I love you Max's..
I love you more Hubby!!

isang taon na po kami!

isang taon na mula ng naging 'kami" ni yobib. ang bilis ng panahon. i always tell him na akala ko di kami aabot sa ganito.. hindi sa ayaw ko or napilitan lang, i just still cant believe that after all the storms, heto kami ngayon holding each other tight each day and cant wait to cuddle each other after a day of work. our relationship has been sooo far from perfect and i can humbly say that we had survived many trials, pains and sorrows and still getting stronger to fight for the love we thought would never be where it is now. and i will always be thankful to the One great reason that keeps us together, to God, that has always been there guiding us to each step we take.

we hated each other before. his first impression of me was so simple. i didnt strike lighting nor get him off his knees. i dont look like his future. well neither do i to him. i will never forget how i despise him for being so playboy. we really hated each other and often ignore each other on friends gatherings.. but that was then.

now, its a very different story. i cannot imagine myself without him by myside anymore. i would like to say first impression doesnt last. can u imagine yobib doing ALL the household chores? cooking, cleaning, washing the laundry.. everything. i am the queen, the little princess.. and he's my soo handsome slave-king-knight in so shining armor.. i will never in my wildest dreams think he is caregiver (the best in town!). how he would take good care of me now. how sincere he is when he tells me i am the only one, which i - half of the time- believe him.. (half of the time he's kidding me and making me bola, i should know!) but i know deep he is true and i love him for being what he is. i sooo love the ways he love me..

i dont know why im writing this (i sound weird, heheh), i thought i just miss him every single minute.. gosh. im blushing. and because i am 12 weeks pregnant today with our baby, i just want to tell you little future daddy that i love you more and more each day.. and

HAPPY HAPPY FIRST YEAR ANNIVERSARY!
