I dont know, but i find it really masculine, or it might be my husband's broadening shoulder or widening waistline?! :D

My Nancy Laptop

After a week of anticipation, i finally got my laptop last saturday! It's a MSI Megabook S1313, hubby suggest i have to get a Dell or Acer but i am sticking to what i said i am getting. I think my NANCY has to be a MSI. I am naming my laptop Nancy because it was a birthday gift from my dearest friend Umma whose real name is Nancy. I hope she wont mind because I will be baptizing Nancy on sunday!

MSI Megabook S1313 passed all the requirements ive been looking for in a laptop, although ive been wishing it was colored lavender or pink. :)

Since i dont know what to look for in purchasing a laptop, i asked some friends and their suggested specs and all were satisfied with my MSI.

Father and Child

While i was uploading our photos at tagaytay, there is one thing i noticed now that we have yena. Hubby and i have no pictures together anymore!

At those instance when hubby wanted to carry her, yena's resistance was so strong! She wanted to walk along with daddy.. So i captured it.

When she was making faces, i took pictures of it..

The moments of picture taking now is for the father and child. Forget the lovers for a minute. No more lovers displaying public affection captured in photos.

Long was the day of me and hubby on photos.

Now it is the three of US. Now it is the father and child.

Bridge at Picnic Grove

They were supposed to be scared right? But they were not! The kids just kept on running back and forth! And the bridge swayed that sometimes scared me it might cracked up anytime.

Felt dizzy capturing them.. Felt so tired too. We had been walking for 200m or so, i thought. Just so tired when there are a lot of kids around.

But when yena showed her untiring smile?! I said, lets go on the next trail! Enjoy..

Picnic Grove Tagaytay

Aside from the arctic weather, i prefer tagaytay than any other place because it is 45 minutes away from our home! :) But if you are from manila, it would take you more than an hour of travel but that also depends on traffic situation! So its a must to go there early in the morning..

We went there October 2007 for our honeymooning with the kids, when the entrance fee was P25. Last sunday, i was not surprised when i learned that like petroluem products they increased it to P50 per head. Plus the parking fee of P50, and you have to be armed beforehand to bring coins when using their rest rooms - they charge a fee of P2 per use.

They have lots of cottages too which rates starts at P150 and prizes varies with the cottage sizes. There are a couple of restaurants inside now, and lots of souvenir shops! But what was exciting to know was that there were already ZIPLINE and CABLE CAR inside picnic grove! Their rates for weekdays were P100 one way and P200 two way: for weekends P200 one way and P300 two way. Asked me to try them? NO WAY!

Yobib's nephews kept on demanding me to try those rides- they were disappointed when i said NO. i was aggresive with my life before that i could try bungee jumping when asked for, BUT now is completely different - i would not risk my life! I have yena in my mind all the time..

jealous lover

jealous, i know i am but my husband is the most jealous creature ive ever met, that's exaggeration! hehehe. he is a jealous lover, but more on being protective. over jealous for me is insecurity, and insecure we are not! we are both secure in each other's love. wink. true! :D

once upon a time, during our first months, i knocked him down! literally and physically i gave him a manny pacquiao signatured upper cut, and that left him toothless! when asked by his officemates what happened, he told them i got fuming mad with jealousy that i punch him until satisfied. i know i'm cruel! but that left us confined to his dentist for a day or so..

nah, before you think any farther, the real story was - we were having our wrestling-ufc-styled bonding time and i was really beaten by him.. i felt so defeated that when i got the chance i got up and punch him direct to his mouth! i felt victorious for a second but when i found him holding his tooth - it was my downfall!

now we look back at that unforgettable moment with lots of laughter, that would keep the two of us rolling! and until this day, his dentist would always remind him not to play around or he will have his tooth fixed again!

at 5 months, i introduced music to yena. she has different songs played by my motorola phone on her play time and sleeping time.. music has been a great help, especially when it is sleeping time already and she doesnt want to stop playing. when i play to her 'home on the range' repeatedly, just count to ten and she's off to ozzzz landia! wink.

but week ago, my mother told me she responds well to barney songs on tv, so i googled the song, memorize it and sing it to her. and really, she reacts on the song. she would raise her hands, stomp her feet, clap her hands, sway her head and bend her back. and she smiles while watching barney on tv! it must be the violet big thing! :)

the statues are located at baguio's botanical garden, i just wished that on our next trip to the city of pines, they will still be there despite of all the fun we made out of them. and if we are going back there with yena, we will not be doing this anymore! :) so enjoy the scenes and see how fool and naughty we were!

Home alone

Umma, a dear blogger friend of mine asked me who take care of yena when the parents have to work?!

My answer -- she is home alone! :)

Im kidding, she is with my mother, who is 5 minutes away from my inlaws home. At night, somebody would bring her back to our house or i will fetch her when it is not yet late. We are currently living with my inlaws and i am on great hope and wish of having our own home soon. ;(

I asked her to pose while i was trying to capture her every move with my cellphone camera, now look at what poses she gave me. She enjoys making face every now and then! I wonder where on earth she got them.

Anyways, its been 9 months of having her in our lives and it's been the best so far. We love her so much!

After a cousin's birthday party and upon going home, daddy playfully put me at the top of a tricycle parking peacefully at the road side. He thought i would be scared, but little did he know i am not afraid of heights! I love the view from the top and when he get me down, it was a struggle!

Yena @ 8 months Part II

Yena likes to sit up on the floor, after rolling on the bed and playfully fall down on the floor.. As if walking already, when standing near the bed she acts like she's walking and jumping up and down.. :)


And for the first time, i saw her cry with people around her. She has stranger anxiety lately, noticed it just yesterday only when i let my friend took her for picture taking. On the positive note, she will not be kidnapped coz she knows now when she will be in good hands or not. Bad thing is that i have me and hubby to exchange carrying her!
